Recently mated and laying Apis mellifera Carnica Queen bee. Bred in our home apiary, mated at one of our mating stations in the Lower Carniola region of Slovenia.

Mother’s side Lineage breeding with emphasis on calmness, racial purity, high yield, good brood pattern, low swarming, good cleaning instinct and adaptability. All our mated Queens are listed in the official record of origin and are delivered with the proof herdbook listing. Use each Queen’s individual QR code found in your shipment to track and register its performance by sticking it on the inside the hive’s cover or within your notes. This way you will be able to ask for a specific line you got from us which you found to have adapted best to your local conditions upon your next order.
